About This Patient

This 24 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by his dermatologist, requested improvement in the appearance of his nose and correction of his bilateral breathing difficulties. He was bothered by his profile and broad nasal tip. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty, which included a reduction of his dorsal hump, infractures of his nasal bones and sculpturing of the cartilage in the tip to refine it. As the swelling subsided, the patient’s nasal passages opened and the patient was pleased with the improved contour of his nose.
