About This Patient

This 42 year old requested improvement in the contour of his abdomen and flanks. In the past his weight had fluctuated, but now been stable for some time. After examining the patient, Dr. Parker explained that some of his abdominal fat was in the subcutaneous layer and could be removed with VASER liposuction; some of it, however, was located surrounding the intestines within the abdominal cavity and could not be removed with liposuction. The patient is 5’10” and weighs 195 pounds. Using VASER liposuction, Dr. Parker removed 1100 cc of fat from the abdomen and 600 cc from each flank. The patient recovered quickly after his procedure. He is happy with the improved appearance of his abdomen and flanks.
