Male Liposuction Patient 13**

About This Patient

This 34 year old, referred by several other patients, requested an improved contour of his abdomen and flanks. He is 5’6″ tall and weighs 186 pounds. He has not been able lose the fullness in his torso after weight loss or regardless of how much he works out. On physical examanation, Dr Parker pointed out to the patient that his abdominal skin had some stretch marks and only moderate skin tone, which might result in loose skin after surgery. The patient did not want a tummy tuck and together they agreed to perform VASER liposuction to help bring about some skin contraction postoperatively. During surgery, Dr Parker removed 800 cc of fat from the abdomen, and 625 cc from each flank using VASER liposuction. The patient recovered nicely, returning back to activities within several days of surgery. His skin continues to contract, aided by the ultrasonic energy of the VASER system, as seen here 5 months postoperatively. He is delighted with his improved appearance and contour.
