Breast Enlargement (Augmentation) Patient 57**
About This Patient
This 22 year old patient requested improvement in the appearance of her breasts. She did not like the way they looked before pregnancy and liked them even less after her child was born. Before seeking help to improve her breasts, she had waited 6 months after giving birth and she had returned to her pre-pregnancy weight. The patient is 5’8″ tall and weighs 160 pounds. She had seen several other plastic surgeons prior to Dr. Parker who told her she would need a vertical incision to correct her condition. Dr. Parker explained to the patient that she had a condition called “tuberous breast” syndrome. He told her he could correct this using periareolar incisions only. He would release the constricting bands on the inside of her breasts and insert implants into a partial submuscular position, then reduce the size of her areolas to better match her breast size. The patient chose 375 cc silicone implants in her Sizing Sessions. Dr. Parker performed the above surgery exactly as described. The patient enjoyed a quick and smooth recovery. She is thrilled with the markedly improved appearance of her breasts.
