About This Patient

This 66 year old, referred by her dermatologist to Dr. Parker, expressed concern about puffiness and excess skin in her upper and lower eyelids. Dr. Parker performed and upper and lower lid blepharoplasty. In the upper eyelids, he removed herniated medial fat and redundant skin. In the lower eyelids, he removed fat using a transconjunctival approach, then suspended the lax obicularis oculi muscle along with a lateral canthopexy to rejuvenate the eyelid margin and removed the excess skin. The patient is very pleased with the more youthful appearance of both her upper and lower eyelids. She has received many compliments from friends and family members.
