About This Patient

This 51 year old requested improvement in the appearance of her eyelids. She had become bothered by the hooding of her upper eyelids and puffiness as well as increasingly prominent “tear troughs” on her lower lids. At surgery, Dr. Parker meticulously injected a small amount of the patient’s own fat into her upper eyelid and along the tear trough area of her lower eyelids. He then removed a carefully measured amount of skin from the upper eyelids, herniated fat from the lower eyelids, a small amount of skin from the lower eyelids and performed erbium laser resurfacing on the lower lids as well. The patient said her recovery was easy, without any pain. She is thrilled with the more youthful appearance of her eyes.
