Upper & Lower Eyelid Lift Patient 17**
About This Patient
This 61 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker’s requested improvement in the appearance of her eyelids. She was bothered by their aging appearance and that her lower eyelids had become increasingly puffy over the past 2-3 years. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed a conservative upper lid blepharoplasty removing skin only. Regarding the lower eyelids, he removed and then transferred herniated fat to the crease below the puffy area called the “tear trough”. In addition, he performed a lateral canthopexy to tighten the lower eyelids, then performed a laser peel to tighten the skin on the lower eyelids without any incisions. The patient experienced an appropriate amount of swelling and bruising postoperatively but no pain. She is delighted with the rejuvenated appearance of her eyelids and her more youthful appearance.
