About This Patient

This 35 year old requested an improvement in the appearance of her nose. In particular, she was bothered by her prominent profile, thought her nose was too wide and wanted it in better proportion with the rest of her face. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty: he reduced the bony cartilaginous hump, did infractures to narrow the upper part of the nose, refined and slightly rotated her nasal tip upwards and narrowed the width of her lower nose with alar base resections. The patient healed rapidly after surgery and is delighted with the natural appearance of her pretty nose.
