About This Patient

This 42 year old felt her nose was too large for her face. She asked Dr. Parker to reduce her dorsal hump, refine her bulbous tip and make the nose look smaller and in better proportion to her face. Using computer imaging prior to surgery allowed the patient and Dr. Parker to precisely plan the details of the procedure. Dr. Parker subsequently performed an open rhinoplasty to achieve these goals. He carefully reduced a small dorsal hump followed by infractures to narrow the upper nose and create slight aquilinity to the dorsum. He also refined the nasal tip cartilage with sutures which can best be appreciated from the “worms eye view”. The patient loves her smaller nose in better proportion to her facial features.
