About This Patient

This 31 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by several other patients. She was bothered by the appearance of her nose, in particular the dorsal hump, bulbous tip, wide base and the nose pulling downward when she smiled. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty during which he removed the bony cartilaginous hump, performed infractures, refined the tip cartilage, removed the depressor septi muscles to prevent the nose from drooping and performed alar base resections to narrow the base of the nose. The patient recovered quickly and well. She was very happy with the improved appearance of her nose.

This patient recently visited our office, 5 years after her rhinoplasty surgery and we took photos. Her nose is unchanged and her results still make her happy! She is now 36 years old.
