About This Patient

This 46 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested removal and replacement of her implants. She had undergone silicone breast augmentation 7 years earlier in Venezuela. A recent mammogram showed left breast implant rupture. Her right breast implant had developed capsular contracture and had become quite hard. She wished to remain the same implant size. Using the patient’s existing inframammary incisions, Dr. Parker removed the 300 cc silicone implants and their surrounding capsules. They were then replaced with new 300 cc implants on each side.
