About This Patient

This 37-year-old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by her gynecologist for removal of her previously inserted breast implants. She had saline implants inserted several years ago by another plastic surgeon. She said they have always felt “tight” to her, never really liked them, would like them removed and not replaced. Dr. Parker removed or “explanted” the implants using the patient’s prior periareolar incisions. She recovered quickly and painlessly from the procedure. After surgery, the patient said the tightness was now gone and she was happy to have the implants out.
