Removal & Replacement of Implants Patient 32**

About This Patient

This 57 year old patient had undergone saline breast augmentation 13 years ago. The patient is 5′ 1″ and weighs 107 pounds. Recently, her implants had become firmer and she began feeling pain in her breasts. She came in asking Dr. Parker about removing and replacing her existing saline implants with somewhat larger silicone implants. Dr. Parker explained how removing the contracted capsules and existing implants could resolve the pain issue as well as improve the appearance of her breasts. During the patient’s Sizing Session, it was determined she had 300 cc saline implants in place; she decided on replacing them with 350 cc silicone implants. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed the saline implants as well as the contracted breast capsules around them and inserted the new 350 cc silicone implants. The patient said she did not experience any pain during her recovery which she termed “quick and easy”. She loves the look and feel of her new implants.
