About This Patient

This 26 year old requested that Dr. Parker improve the appearance of her protruding ears. She had been bothered by this for some time and decided now was the time to address the issue. Dr. Parker performed an otoplasty using an incision carefully placed in the crease behind each ear. He corrected the shape of her ears by reducing the size of the concha and setting it back with sutures to give the ears a normal shape. The incisions hidden behind the patient’s ears were closed with dissolvable sutures. The patient said her recovery was easy and she is pleased with the improved shape of her ears.
