About This Patient

This 18 year old asked Dr. Parker to improve the appearance of her prominent ears which have bothered her for some time. Dr. Parker reviewed the details of an otoplasty procedure with her and subsequently performed her surgery under local anesthesia. In doing so, he inserted permanent sutures to create a more well defined anti helical fold, set back the concha and earlobe. The patient said her recovery was easy and not painful. She is very happy with the improved contour and appearance of her ears.
