About This Patient

This 50 year old requested improvement in the appearance of both her nose and neck. She sustained nasal trauma when younger and has been bothered by her dorsal hump and lack of nasal tip definition. The patient had previously been heavier, and following weight loss, her neck skin became lax. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty to reduce the patient’s dorsal hump and refine her nasal tip. During the same surgery, he performed a neck lift, suspending the lax platysma muscle laterally and removing excess skin through concealed incisions behind her ears. The patient recovered quickly without pain after surgery. She is delighted with her natural looking results from both procedures.
