About This Patient

This 21 year old requested Dr. Parker to improve the fullness of her neck and the appearance of her nose; specifically, she asked to have her nose made to appear somewhat smaller. Dr. Parker performed VASER liposuction on the patient’s neck, removing 50 cc of fat. During the same appointment, he performed an open rhinoplasty, rasping the nasal bones to make them appear smaller and somewhat more narrow. He also removed excess cartilage from the nasal tip and sculpted the remaining cartilage with sutures under direct vision to create a more delicate, refined tip. The patient experienced an appropriate amount of swelling in both areas, but little in the way of bruising and no pain. She is very please with the postoperative appearance of both her neck and nose.
