About This Patient

This 23 year old patient, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested help with his large nose. He was bothered by its size, dorsal hump, over-projecting tip and flaring nostrils. During an open rhinoplasty, Dr. Parker removed the bony and cartilaginous hump, performed infractures to appropriately narrow the upper aspect of the nose, sculpted and set back the over-projecting nasal tip cartilage and performed alar base resections to improve upon the flaring. The patient enjoyed a quick recovery. He is quite happy with the natural appearance of his nose and better facial harmony.
