About This Patient

This 36 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by his family physician. He has been bothered by his asymmetric, bulbous nasal tip for some time and finally decided to do something about it. His only concern was his tip; he was happy with the upper portion of his nose. Dr. Parker discussed options with the patient and used computer imaging during the consultation to show him what the nose should look like after surgery. The patient liked what he saw and heard. Subsequently, Dr. Parker performed an open tip plasty whereby he removed excess cartilage from the nasal tip, then inserted sutures into the remaining cartilage to sculpt it into a more defined, yet a strong male nasal tip. The patient’s recovery was quick and easy. He loves the natural appearance of his nose and feels like it complements his face perfectly.
