Lower Eyelid Lift Patient 4**
About This Patient
This 42 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by her dermatologist, requested surgical correction of her puffy lower eyelids. This problem, present for a number of years, had progressively worsened. Dr. Parker performed a lower lid blepahoplasty, removing “herniated” lower lid fat through a transconjunctival approach, then tightened the lid itself with a lateral canthopexy, suspended the obicularis muscle and removed excess skin. The patient recovered quickly from her procedure and was back in circulation within 10-14 days. She is very pleased with her more youthful, though natural appearance of her eyes. She feels as if she looks more well rested and has received numerous compliments from family and friends about how good she looks.
