Lower Eyelid Lift Patient 10**

About This Patient

This 40 year old female was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient. She had with concerns about the puffiness of her lower eyelids. She felt this made her look tired and older then she is. After reviewing various options, she and Dr. Parker arrived at the following surgical plan. Under general anesthesia, Dr. Parker made an incision on the inside of each lower eyelid. He then removed a portion of the heniated lower eyelid fat that was causing the puffiness and transferred the fat to the tear trough area between he patient’s lower eyelid and cheek. This filled in the depression in the tear trough area creating better blending from the eyelid to the cheek. Dr. Parker then applied a 30% TCA chemical peel to the lower eyelid to help tighten up the fine wrinkles present. The patient recovered rapidly without pain after her surgery. At her last visit, she indicated how pleased she is with the natural, more youthful look of her lower eyelids.
