About This Patient

This 31 year old asked Dr. Parker to improve the appearance of his breasts. He said they had increased in size during college with creatine ingestion and remained that way. He is tired of trying to mask his breasts with two shirts and not wanting to remove his shirt in public. The patient is 5′ 8″  and weighs 165 pounds. Dr. Parker examined him and explained that his breast fullness was due primarily to an excess of fibroglanduar tissue. He recommended, and subsequently performed, a direct excision of this fibroglandular tissue through an incision made around the lower half of the areola. Dr. Parker removed 100 grams of tissue from the right and larger breast and 75 grams of tissue from the left breast. The patient was pleased with his quick recovery and is very happy with his more masculine-looking chest.
