About This Patient

This 17 year old has been bothered by the fullness of his breasts since puberty. He is self conscious about not only the fullness of his breasts but the enlarged nipples and areolas. His father pointed out that his posture has slumped in an effort to conceal his chest. Dr. Parker treated the patient by removing the fatty tissue with liposuction and fibroglandular gynecomastia with a special cannula through one small incision in the armpit area. The patient recovered quickly after surgery. He is pleased with the normal contour of his nipples, areolas and breasts.
