Fat Transfer to Buttocks**

About This Patient

This 45 year old was referred by her primary care doctor to Dr Parker and complained about her buttock asymmetry. She had sustained a fall 6 months earlier and developed a hematoma in her left buttock. As this resolved, it left a large depression which was very noticeable through tight fitting clothing. She requested Dr Parker to release the scar tissue which had formed from the hematoma and try to have the left buttock match the right more closely. Dr Parker subsequently performed liposuction on the patient’s hips, removing 525 cc of fat from each side. He injected the left buttock with 80 cc of this fat after releasing the scar tissue. The patient was pleased with her recovery and her markedly improved symmetry of her buttocks and hips.
