About This Patient

This 59 year old Hispanic patient presented to Dr. Parker with concerns about the laxity of her mid and lower face. She was also not happy with the hollowing of her lower eyelids after a transconjunctival lower lid blepharoplasty done 11 years previously by another surgeon. After discussion of the various options available, Dr. Parker performed a secondary lower lid blepharoplasty whereby he repositioned the persistent lower lid fat into the patient’s nasojugal grooves to improve the hollowing of her lower lids. He also performed a facelift with fat injections to restore lost facial volume and moved skin and fat into more youthful positions. The patient healed and recovered very quickly after surgery. She is very pleased with the more youthful appearance of her face and her eyes.
