Face Lift Patient 21**
About This Patient
This 68 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested improvement in her aging face and neck. Dr. Parker explained that he could re-position sagging facial fat with internal sutures, remove excess fat in the neck, tighten the platysma muscles in the neck to improve neck contour, and then remove redundant facial and neck skin to further improve the contour of the patient’s face and neck. He suggested performing a chemical peel at a second stage several months later to smooth out fine wrinkles in the skin that the facelift could not completely correct. Dr. Parker performed a full face and necklift. The patient’s recovery was uneventful. She is pleased with the improved contour of her face and neck and opted not to undergo the chemical peel.
