About This Patient

This 53 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient of the Parker Center. She came in asking Dr. Parker to improve the appearance of her increasingly heavy upper eyelids. After examining her eyes, Dr. Parker pointed out the asymmetry of her eyebrow shape in addition to the excess skin on her upper lids. He recommended, and subsequently performed, an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Through this incision on each upper eyelid, he removed a portion of the patient’s corrugator muscles and evened out her eyebrows with an internal brow lift. The patient bounced back quickly after surgery. She is thrilled with the markedly improved appearance of her upper eyelids and more symmetrical eyebrows.
