About This Patient

This 54 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested a reduction in the size of her breasts. She said she is a G cup. She is bothered by neck and back pain as well as shoulder strap furrows. Additionally her large breast size prevents her from exercising. The patient is 5’4″ tall and weighs 118 pounds. During a central pedicle breast reduction, Dr. Parker removed 555 grams of tissue from the right breast and 515 grams from the left to adjust for her pre-existing asymmetry. Following her recovery from surgery, the patient said she was very happy with the improved size and shape of her breasts. Her pre-operative symptoms have resolved, clothes fit much better and she is now able to exercise more comfortably.
