Breast Enlargement (Augmentation) Patient 105**
About This Patient
This 25 year old patient requested Dr. Parker to improve her asymmetric breasts which have never been as full as she would like. The patient is 5’3″ tall, weighs 145 pounds, and wears a 34 B cup. Dr. Parker discussed options with the patient and her husband and they agreed upon the following plan: insert different size breast implants to equalize the breast volumes, then perform a periareolar mastopexy on the right breast to lift the areola and make it more symmetric with the left side. During her Sizing Session, the patient selected a 375 cc silicone implant for the right breast and a 450 cc implant for the left. At surgery, Dr. Parker used periareolar incisions to create a partial submuscular pocket on both sides in which he inserted the implants, then performed the periareolar mastopexy on the right and carefully closed the incisions to make the resultant scarring as inconspicuous as possible. The patient said her recovery was fine and she is very pleased with her improved breast fullness and symmetry.
