Breast Enlargement (Augmentation) Patient 1**

About This Patient

This 36-year-old patient has been bothered by her small breasts for many years. Following the birth of her children, they became even smaller. She would like to increase them from her current A cup size to large a B, small C cup. She was referred by a family friend who is a plastic surgeon in New York City to Dr. Parker. The patient is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. In her preoperative sizing session, she chose a 350 cc silicone implants to be inserted through an inframammary incision. Because of the thinness of her tissues Dr. Parker placed these implants in a submuscular position. Postoperatively, the patient recovered quickly and painlessly from her surgery. She returned back to normal activities within several days after surgery and is delighted with the size, shape and look of her breasts.
