About This Patient

This 51 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient. He has been bothered by the bags under his eyes for many years, feeling they make him look tired. The patient was scheduled to have surgery with another plastic surgeon but grew increasingly uncomfortable with the doctor and his office. His friend, a patient of Dr. Parker’s, strongly recommended he visit the Parker Center. During the initial consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out that the bags under the patient’s eyes were due to herniated fat bulging from around the eyeball into the lower eyelid. Rather than removing and discarding that fat, Dr. Parker recommended the fat be transferred to the prominent nasojugal grooves beneath the eyelids to help achieve a better blending from both lower eyelids to the cheeks. The patient felt comfortable with Dr. Parker, this plan, and the staff at the Parker Center. The procedure was performed exactly as described by Dr. Parker. The patient is very pleased with the absence of the bags beneath his eyes and no longer hears from friends and co workers that he looks tired.
