Traditionally, plastic surgeons have had to perform another surgery in order to address capsular contracture. However, a new form of treatment, known as the Aspen Ultrasound System, is available at the Parker Center for Plastic Surgery. We use this non-invasive approach to correct capsular contracture in over 80% of our patients treated. The Aspen Ultrasound System Treatment is much less expensive, carries none of the risks of surgery, and does not require a lengthy recovery time. Best of all, it is painless. This form of treatment uses ultrasound therapy in combination with a special type of massage to soften the hardened capsule.
